Camp Evergreen Horizons provides an inclusive and nurturing environment for children with diverse abilities, focusing on social skills, confidence-building, and adaptive recreational activities set against the backdrop of our beautiful mountain lake campus. Our programs are designed so every camper can participate fully — whether that means modified climbing routes, sensory-friendly quiet spaces, or one-on-one buddy pairings during waterfront time. Our dedicated, specially trained staff ensures personalized support and a joyful summer where every camper can thrive, discover new passions, build independence, and make friendships that last well beyond the final campfire.

About Our Camp

Camp Evergreen Horizons offers an unforgettable summer experience for children ages 7-16. Nestled on 40 pristine acres along the shores of Lake Horizon, our inclusive programs combine outdoor adventure, creative arts, and personal growth in a safe, nurturing environment.

Every child deserves a summer where they can explore, take healthy risks, build confidence, and make friendships that last a lifetime. Our specially trained staff ensures that each camper — regardless of ability — can participate fully in every activity.

A Typical Day at Camp

7:30 AM — Wake-up and cabin cleanup
8:00 AM — Breakfast in the dining hall
9:00 AM — Morning activities (choice of 3 options)
10:30 AM — Free swim at the waterfront
12:00 PM — Lunch
1:00 PM — Rest hour and letter writing
2:00 PM — Afternoon activities (choice of 4 options)
4:00 PM — All-camp games or special events
5:30 PM — Dinner
7:00 PM — Evening program (campfire, talent show, stargazing)
9:00 PM — Cabin time and lights out

Sessions start at $4,200. Financial aid available. Early bird discount through March 1.

Accreditation & Safety

ACA accredited since 1952. All counselors are First Aid/CPR certified. Waterfront staff hold current lifeguard certification. 4:1 camper-to-counselor ratio. Licensed by the Vermont Department of Health.
